My Lexi girl just might be the girliest girl there ever was! I swear. So her room called for pink, florals, and a princess bed!
As you can see when touring our home, we love wallpaper. Nothing transports like a beautifully crafted wallpaper. We took the opportunity to pull in the florals from the wallpaper in the room’s lighting as well.
The Goal
Lexi has an imagination that soars so tried to cultivate this with adding a little whimsy to the room. A traditional oval princess mirror and a princess doll with oh so much character!
The Design
Perhaps nothing sets mood quite like lighting! I found the adorable lamp with handcrafted glass flowers and matching flushmount light at Pottery Barn Kids.
Rarely can you find that princess inspired doll sitting on her dresser. Usually, Lexi has her out and about exploring the room!
The Details
I’m a huge fan of decorative window valances. A talented artist on Etsy.com handcrafted these custom window covers. They immediately elevate the room and work great as an accent on odd shaped windows where curtains just won’t do.
In a room fit for a princess, we had to introduce a princess inspired bed and accent chair with regal lines. A floor lamp, an accent chair and a side table add immediate cozy to bedroom corners.
