It was a no-brainer when it came to posting my first recipe. I needed a one-two punch: something easy, and a GUARANTEED crowd pleaser!
Funny background story, we found this recipe more than two decades ago in my little cousin’s elementary school cookbook. You know the kind: starts with all the moms giving a not-too-secret family recipe. Next, the book is paperbound with staples, assembled by the PTA, and sold for $3 each.
One of my cousin’s classmates mothers, Ellen Wiggin, offered up this gem. Ellen, we’ve never met, but boy are you a legend in our household!
My sister and I affectionately joke it’s the “one bite, recipe please” casserole. Cause after one bite, everyone says, “Could you share this recipe?” Yes!! Here it is.
I’ve made a promise to only share short-cut or easy with you. Here’s easy: you don’t have to…but you can prep this puppy the night before and then, cover it with foil and refrigerate.
Come morning, just top it with cinnamon and bake. We love to add warm maple syrup to it before digging in. Just pop a 1/2 cup of syrup in the microwave for 30-60 seconds and you’ll be set!
Bon appétit, mes amours!

Looking forward to trying this! Any chance you could install/code in an easy way to print your recipes? Good luck with your new venture!
